You would be responsible for the development and implementation of the Group's overall communication strategy to ensure the design, conceptualization and implementation of communications to all internal and external stakeholders and audiences are consistent with the corporate brand.
Your responsibilities would include media coordination to ensure accuracy and consistency with overall corporate image of all press and media statements issued in the name of the Group and its subsidiaries; and ensuring new and existing channels of communication are used optimally and efficiently including the Group intranet and corporate website. You would also be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for sustainability reporting and all necessary processes around the reports. Initiating and implementing corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and management of sponsorship events would also fall under your purview. |

You would possess a degree and/ or professional qualifications in Marketing Management, Multimedia, Mass Communications or a related field from a reputed institution and/or be a Member of Charted Institute of Marketing (UK) with a minimum of 5 years of post qualification experience in corporate communications with a reputed organization in Sri Lanka or abroad. An MBA is preferred. In depth understanding of branding and web culture is vital for the successful performance in this role. Experience in mass communication is required.
A team player with excellent written and oral communication skills, you would possess outstanding negotiation, leadership and interpersonal skills and an excellent command of the English language. You will be a dynamic, independent, self-starter with a keen eye for detail who will be enthusiastic and motivated to thrive in a challenging work environment. |
